HELP & FAQ
Find the basics here, or ask Amara about your specific business, setup or Amara project.
GETTING STARTED
The free Business Checkup helps Amara understand what your business does, what feels messy, and what you want to make easier before recommending a next step.
Build With Amara helps small service businesses simplify the digital side of running a business—websites, booking connections, forms, customer flows, follow-up and simple automation.
It is a discovery conversation. Tell Amara what is happening in normal language. She helps organize the problem and identify what may be worth improving. A checkup does not mean every problem needs a paid project.
No. Describe what you normally do when a customer wants to contact, book or pay you. If needed, Amara can ask for a screenshot or other details to help identify the workflow.
Yes, especially with questions related to your Amara setup. When the chat supports it, you can share screenshots, photos, files or relevant links. Amara can guide safe troubleshooting steps and use current documentation when available. Some issues still require human help or account access.
Yes when the chat supports uploads. They can be useful for errors, settings, logos, brand assets, copy and project files. Do not send passwords, verification codes, recovery codes, private keys or other account secrets.
LAUNCH PRICING
Your Business Checkup helps confirm what actually fits before work starts.
Current opening pricing on the Amara site is generally $150–$350 for business improvements and simple setups, depending on scope. Larger builds, full custom systems and more complex projects are quoted separately.
A focused setup can include up to three static website pages, one booking-system connection and one simple automation when those pieces fit the approved project. The exact deliverables are confirmed before work begins.
No unless a written offer specifically says otherwise. Customers pay their own domain costs, booking or software subscriptions, processing fees and other third-party charges.
Amara currently advertises an opening ongoing-support option at $97/month for maintenance, troubleshooting, small updates and ongoing system support. It is not unlimited custom development.
WEBSITES, BOOKING & AUTOMATION
Yes. Standard Amara sites are focused on making the business clear and giving customers an obvious next step—book, inquire, buy, apply or contact. More complex sites require a custom scope.
Standard projects usually connect an established booking tool rather than building a custom calendar from scratch. Amara first looks at what you already use before recommending a replacement.
Yes, when automation is actually useful. A simple setup might confirm an intake, notify you about an inquiry, route approved information or trigger a straightforward follow-up. Multi-system and custom workflows may require custom pricing.
Often, yes. Amara should understand your current setup before recommending that you replace it. Sometimes improving what is already there is the simplest answer.
Yes. Amara can explain relevant examples and point to approved work or demos when available. If an example is hypothetical, she should tell you that rather than presenting it as a client result.
STARTING A PROJECT
You complete the Amara Project Start Form and provide the information, files and secure access needed for the approved work. That keeps discovery separate from project onboarding.
Implementation begins after the required copy, photos, branding/assets, project information and necessary access have been provided. Missing pieces can pause the start of work.
Use collaborator, teammate, staff or delegated access whenever the platform supports it. Never send passwords or verification codes through ordinary chat or intake fields.
Amara can gather the requirements, but she should not invent a price or promise work outside the approved scope. Expanded or custom work is reviewed and quoted separately.
Yes. Amara is there to make support easier, not block human help. Custom scope, account permissions, sensitive decisions, unresolved troubleshooting or a direct request for a person can be escalated.
